University of Aberdeen announces 100 new PhD Scholarships

The University of Aberdeen is launching a new programme of research scholarships totalling over £5 million.

The new Elphinstone Scholarship Programme is being offered to high-achieving students from anywhere in the world looking to begin a PhD programme at the University of Aberdeen in autumn 2014.

Students receiving one of the 100 scholarships on offer will have their fees waived for each year of their PhD.

Applications are welcome from students interested in PhD studies across our three Colleges and in our four multi-disciplinary research themes of Energy, Environment & Food Security, Pathways to a Healthy Life, and The North.
